What Are Diamonds ?

  • Diamonds are crystallized form of carbon that predates the oldest known life on Earth and the most beautiful of all gems.

  • Except for trace impurities, a diamond is composed solely of crystallized carbon (99.95%), the chemical element that is fundamental to all life.

  • Hardest substance known to man. Atoms are aligned and spaced equally giving its hardness.

  • The word diamond is derived from the Greek "adamas," which means unconquerable or invincible.

  • Diamond is the most expensive as well as the most beautiful among all the precious stones. There are more than 100 precious stones but when it comes to value they are not equally precious.
